We provide two services to invoke the advanced optimization methods:
- SwiftMobility Desktop: This desktop software provides an intuitive graphical user interface and gives full control to the user allowing one to request multiple fixed-time schedules, completely adjust any such schedule, and easily create and test multiple design variants.
- SwiftMobility Cloud API: This API gives access to the same advanced optimization methods as SwiftMobility Desktop and allows simple integration in any smart traffic solution. As optimal fixed-time schedules and their phase diagrams can now be computed in real-time (something deemed impossible until now!) this allows for truly adaptive and smart traffic light control; it allows traffic control to continuously adopt the phase sequence that best matches the current traffic situation while taking into account long-term effects on traffic queues; this real-time computation of optimal phase diagrams is crucial for top performance in high-traffic situations and may form the ideal basis of vehicle-actuated traffic light control.
